Happy Birthday

I want to thank everything that had dedicated time and effort to the simm over the past 8 years, people have come and gone but added something of each to the simm before leaving. Eight years is a long time, a monumental feat considering I only started simming to kill time between exams so as you can expect I didn't expect it to keep going past a year never mind Eight of them.

Some of the crew have been with the DN since it's start, others joined later but each have left a mark, made an impact that shaped what the Dreadnought is today. It's changed a lot over the years from the old Galaxy Dreadnought Class, the Ronin Class to its current appearance of the Ascension Class. Over the Eight years I have tortured, maimed, interrogated and subjected you to thinks that were simply outright nasty....yet for some reason many of you came back for more......

The missions have been all over the place in terms of plot but it's the content created by the characters that give it meaning. Often I have read prior missions, been drawn to posts that stuck out in the mind to read them again. I have handed out subplots to people, even let people run entire missions so that more depth can be added. The Dreadnought is a more casual simm than what it used to be but it still remains active with a dedicated core group of simmers with like minded interests and zeal to be creative not just by themselves but with others as well.

I just wanted to say thank you to all those that contributed to the simm over the years, to those still with the simm and I look forward to next year and all the new additions we may get in between.
