Personality & Traits
General Overview | Wolfe is a down to business kind of guy, he knows the risks of his job and takes them seriously as his abilities help keep those beside him alive. In uniform he would strike someone as being born for the SFMC lifestyle from being fit, toned and his athletic physique which he works to maintain frequently through healthy eating, workouts and whatever else the service sends his way. He's no stranger to the marine '3 hots and a cot' lifestyle though, but when he's able to sleep in a proper bed, it might be hard to wake him. He's a driven man, focused and determined. He puts 100% of himself into a task and takes pride in his efforts proving fruitful alone or as part of a team or group. In his downtime, when that should present itself, he enjoys reading, cooking (even though he's not great at it) and taking the time to truly relax and switch off being a marine. |

Strengths & Weaknesses | + Wolfe has a sound tactical mind and force application. + Uncanny ability to think outside of the box. + Good judge of character + Considerate towards other. + Fiercely protective of Penelope. - Doesn't take losing well - Abhors disrespectful attitudes - Struggles at times to know when enough, is enough when it comes to pushing his limits too long. |
|
Ambitions | Wolfs ambitions over time have shifted and changed due to the situation he finds himself in, while before he would have been content to devote his total energies into rising the ranks and being a leader he's found much of that has changed since the introduction of Penelope into his life. While still driven by duty, honour and the demands of the uniform, he also has other important things now to pay attention to. |
|
Hobbies & Interests | Reading Attempts to cook, but not well (It's not an MRE) Relaxing Singing. |
Personal History | Wolfe was in his youth a regular young lad that played sports, did his homework and kept out of trouble. As time passed though he was an outgoing kid with a particular interest in track events, ball sports and junior league darts. While Wolfe demonstrated he was more a physical lad that didn't take away from his mental abilities which scored him high grades in his exams. He applied for sports college feeling that was where his future lay, running on a field or track as a profession but that changed when his parents told him about the death of his Brother, Rylie. Wolfe took the news hard as Rylie was older and frequently made sure that he was looked after, 'big brother' protecting him from bullies and those that didn't like his abilities on track. Wolfe dropped out from College and enlisted into the SFMC Officers Academy thanks to his grades and physical aptitude, a fact that his Mother was against but his Father was proud of. She eventually came to accept his choice and wept when the transport came to pick Wolfe up to take him to Officer School. It was during his time there that during a period of shore leave he came across a young woman called Penelope. He first saw her on the monitor reporting on a recent robbery at an antique store, instantly he was captivated. It didn't take Wolfe long to find her, the coverage was regular so sooner or later he'd encounter her in person. The two hit it off quickly, much to the annoyance of many of his fellow officer trainees. Wolfe graduated Officers School a freshly minted 2nd Lieutenant. A feat he attributed to Penelope's patience and presence throughout his training and examinations. His initial assignment was delayed but future assignments would find him engaging Nausicaan raiders, pirates, Klingon bounty hunters and the occasional trader of...questionable goods and Penelope was there with him, supporting but also providing coverage on the aftermath of the operation. His efforts and successes earned him medal and promotion like any other, including a scar or two for it. Days before his 27th birthday he received notification from the Director of Personnel that he was being assigned to the U.S.S. Dreadnought. Nearly everyone had heard of this ship in one form or another, be it from the size of the vessel that dwarfed any in current service vessel to rivalling some orbital facilities. The same day he put in a request that Penelope join him, providing evidence of a continued and constant relationship to the Commander at the desk. The request was approved. |
