Mission: Unknown Life, Unknown Dangers
Location: Quarters

Xavier was laying on the sofa at home having been cleared from Sickbay because of the amount of casualties they sustained when the plan was put into effect. Xavier was not one to take up a bed just because of what happened when he knew BJ would be at home and a bed of his own. It came as no surprise to him when they ushered him out of Sickbay when he attempted to treat the injured and sent him home. He understood it even if he didn't agree with it. Still, he was glad to be home and with the woman he loved.

He didn't know what was going to happen to her because of what she did, but he hoped she wouldn't be sent away. He'd happily leave with her if it meant staying with her. "Hey." He softly spoke as he cuddled up to her on the sofa, gentle but loving as his arms went around her.

BJ smiled when he wrapped his arms around her. "Credit for your thoughts?" she asked him.

"Worried about you to be honest." Xavier spoke softly. "I don't want to lose you, I was just started to picture us getting married, kids and a ripe old age." He had some time of late to consider his options when he was recovering.

"You aren't going to lose me, Xav," she said. "We can still be married, have kids and live long enough to see great, great grandkids."

"Oh I don't know about that far. Besides once we have kids and they had fled the nest we can lock the doors. We have done our part." Xavier smiled amused by the comment. "You know, we have not spoken much about getting married, outfits, venue, flowers...." The list when on.

"We could have the Commodore marry us and I'd be happy because I'd have you," BJ said as she leaned over and gave him a kiss. "I don't need fancy."

"Would you be ok with that? I mean, hes the boss and after whats happened?" Xavier asked. "We can always go somewhere, off the ship, remote next to a beach or something?"

"He didn't make me pull a phaser on Bradshaw," she said. "We could wait if you wanted to, though."

"No, let's not. I spent too long waiting, putting off promotions and new positions even love and now look where I am having embraced it. I'm for the better now thanks to you so no, I don't want to wait." Xavier leaned into her, her body warm and comfortable as the situation they found themselves in drifted into the background.

"Are you sure?" BJ asked as she looked into his eyes.

"I'm sure. The next available opportunity. We know the dangers of the uniform, why put off something we both want?" Xavier replied as he gazed into her eyes with a warm smile. "You really are beautiful, you know that right?"

"And you are a very, very handsome man and I am very lucky to have gotten your attention," she said as she leaned in to give him a kiss.

"Flattery gets you places young lady." Xavier smiled just as her lips left his own.

"What places would those be?" BJ asked him with a flutter of her eyelashes.

"I still have some of those oils from before." A smile and glint in his eye. "I figured after the last few days you could do with some unwinding yes?" Good thing about being with BJ was that things didn't have to be sexual to enjoy each other, something as simple as a touch was enough to brighten even the darkest of days.

"Then go get undressed and lay on the bed, babe," she said. "You're the one recovering and the treatment is on me."

With a smile Xavier stood from the sofa and headed to the bedroom where his clothing hung over the back of a chair. He'd sort it out later but BJ has given his marching orders so he'd go along with them. It would be good to relax a bit at the tender loving hands of a loved one.
