Mission:
Unknown Life, Unknown Dangers
Location: Commodore's Quarters
Timeline: MD2: 09:00 hrs
Will stirred in his bed moaning from the aches and pains that wrought his frame, he reached over for the bottle of water he keeps next to the bed and took a healthy drink from it. When his vision started to clear and his senses became more a tune to the waking world is where he started to remember things. Snippets of things as his brain began to function, like dancing...he couldn't remember when he last danced and where was Vash? He showered which helped make things clearer but drew more blanks than questions.
Instead of dwelling on it, knowing that to be destructive especially with so many unknowns he distracted himself with some work, even if most had the day off.
Two cups of strong Coffee later and several reports down they informed him the ship was ready to go, some of the crew were still enjoying the time off, he didn't have that luxury being the new Commanding Officer. He had things to do.
From the corridor outside, the sound of a female yelling could be heard followed by the calm, muted tones of a woman who could barely be heard of the other female was seemed to be demanding to see the Commodore.
Yelling was for sure something unusual on board the ship, or any ship for that matter but it peaked his curiosity enough that he stepped outside of his quarters to see what the fuss was about. "What is going on here?" He asked, clearly unhappy at being interrupted while holding his Coffee in his right hand.
A female Security officer who had a look on her face that clearly said she was getting fed up turned to the Commodore. "This civilian is demanding to see you, Sir," she said as she pointed back at Vashkele. "I told her that this deck was off limits to civilians and she is insisting that she was invited here."
Vashkele stood with her arms crossed with a civilian PADD in one hand, a look of annoyance on her features. She wore a red dress that was low cut on top and barely covered her thighs. "Tell her, William!" she demanded when she saw him.
Will sighed and waved Vash through and rubbed his brow. "It's alright." Oh this is going to be interesting. Will thought as he walked into his quarters again and stood at the door waiting for her so they didn't close.
Vash smirked at the Security woman and brushed passed her and into his quarters. "You really need better trained attack monkeys, William," she said as she headed for his replicator where she ordered a glass of some Orion drink.
"They are just doing what they are assigned to do." Will spoke as he perched against the end of his desk, Coffee in hand. He'd noticed that she didn't mention anything about last night first, instead criticised his crew and walked in like she owned the place. "So what can I do for you Vash?"
"If it's their job to harass people who need authorization for things," she said as she handed the PADD over to him. "Then they're doing a good job. The Quartermaster said he wouldn't authorize a shipment of what I need for my club and said only you could. So I'm here. Authorize this."
On the PADD was a delivery of Romulan Ale and several other ales from outside of Federation space, and a wide variety of delicacies, some of which were illegal in the Federation.
William took the PADD and looked it over then back stepped. "Wow hang on there, back it up a sec." William spoke. "You are going to walk in here, act like you own the place, give me orders on my own ship and not once comment on last night or act like it never happened?" Will was kind of in a maze with that line of actions just taken.
Vash moved up to him and slid a hand down his chest as she took a sip of her juice. "Oh, William," she said softly as she looked up at him. "I didn't mean to hurt your feelings. I was just in a rush this morning and you were sleeping so peacefully that I didn't want to wake you up. Would it be better if I....made it up to you somehow?" She batted her long dark lashes and gazed at him with her emerald green eyes.
"You can start by explaining to me just what is going on here." Will spoke walking to the replicator and recycling his empty cup. He remembered her saying that he was different, he didn't look at her the same as other men did and that he was handsome and attractive. "Last night, everything."
"Well," she said as she stayed in front of him and continued to slide her hand over his chest. "I brought this PADD to you because your Quartermaster wouldn't authorize it. As for last night, we had fun, but I could spell it out in more detail if you wish."
"Please, because clearly two cups isn't enough." He replicated another as he stood watching her, he'd not laid a hand on her but he wanted to, to hold her close just to feel her under his hand.
"You came to my club, had a few drinks, danced on stage with me, then we came back here," Vash said. "Then we proceeded to get some more drinks, which I spilled on myself and you were more than happy to clean up in a creative way. After that, we took things a bit further which made both of us very happy."
"Hmmm." William nodded with a raised left brow, very creative and very happy couldn't be argued. "Yeah, I'll give you that one." A small smiled formed on his lips. "So....what now?" He asked. "Because I don't do flings, or casual hook ups or what ever they call it these days among the youth of this generation."
"There's a problem with that, Will," she said quietly. "And I'm ashamed to admit it, but it would really be frowned upon by your superiors if they knew."
That caught his attention. "There is a problem with that, and if you just got me into bed to serve your own means to get what you want authorised then frankly you can tell my superiors. In fact, I'll hook you up with Admiral Mitsue right now so you can tell her." Will spoke throwing down his cards and calling her out. "Shall I?" His hand out to his computer.
"Damnit, William!" Vash snapped and threw her drink at the console where it shattered and splashed liquid over it and his hand. "I'm an Orion female," she snarled. "Do you know what that means?!"
William wiped his hand, his cheek and put his cup down. "I think you should leave." Will spoke. "And for your information, I can clearly see that you're an Orion female. We all know the stories, hear the talk at the Academy but I'm a big boy Vash and all I see is a woman, you could be the same colour as me for all I care."
She grunted in frustration and moved up to him. "The females of my race have pheromones that enslave men, William," she nearly spit the words out. "It's not about the color of the skin or the race. It's about you not having free will. You have to get a shot to protect yourself from me if you don't want to be my slave. I like you. I don't want to see you like that!"
"You want me to get a shot from medical to protect against you." William knew what she meant but not quite how he saw it. "But....are you ok with that?" He asked. "I mean, I'd be taking a shot against part of what you are. That's like not accepting all of you...for you." He finished. It sounded right in his head, maybe he was still waking up or maybe he was trying to make sense out of everything too quickly.
"I don't have control of my pheromones," Vash said. "Especially not when I'm attracted to someone. That's the only way it would ever work equally between us. You have to understand that," she begged him. "It wouldn't be taking a part of me away. It would be giving your free will back to you."
"So you are attracted to me?" A devilish grin formed on his face as he leant forward towards her, a smug look on his face.
"Do they take part of your brain when they give you higher ranks?" she asked him in frustration. "Last night, I had you eating out of my hand and you were all for it. I enjoyed it, don't get me wrong, but you asked if last night was a fling or whatever. You didn't have a choice last night, William! Do you want that ability to make a choice?"
She had a point, he knew it. "I do, yes." He wanted to choose, he wanted an equal footing and by the sounds of it, she wanted more from this even if she didn't answer his question. "I'll see the Doctor after this."
Vash nodded. "Thank you, William," she said softly. "I don't want to start things off the way it normally goes with my species where you are concerned. Granted, we had a start, but there are always false starts. I promise that I won't have a problem if you don't like me how you would see me without my pheromones affecting you."
William nodded, he knew she made a lot of sense in what she was saying. "Alright." He spoke, he'd see Medical and get the shot, even tell her when he'd taken it so that she knew. It was her idea after all. "Are you sure being seen dating me won't ruin your reputation with your business?"
"Dating?" she asked while raising a finely crafted eyebrow. "See how I am with a clear mind before you make that choice. You may not like me at all."
William walked to the PADD she came in with and approved it. "Here." Offering it to her once he'd done it.
"Thank you, William," Vash said as she took the PADD back and held it at her side. "Do you wish to meet me later?"
"I would, when is best for you?" They all had a day off so might as well make the best of it. Later would also give him time to go to Sickbay.
"I open The Pink Kitty at twenty hundred hours," she told him. "Meet me at nineteen hundred?"
"Nineteen hundred it is." William spoke with a smile. "I do like the dress by the way."
Vash gave him a playful smile and leaned forward so the front of it fell away from her full breasts slightly. "Just the dress, William?"
William smiled as the view presented itself. "Oh no..not just the dress." His hands came to rest on her waist. "Now......I do seem to recall you offering to make it up to me."
"I did and I will," she said before she stepped back away from him. "After you've had your shot. My pheromones are still affecting you."
"Yes Ma'am." William spoke as she stepped back, the view snatched from him but the smile remained.
"Until then," Vash said as she turned to head back out the door. Before she did, though, she raised the back of her dress to reveal she had nothing on under it, then was gone.
Will's shoulders dropped but the smile only broadened. "Shes going to be a handful for sure." He spoke before he started cleaning up the mess from her smashed glass.
