Mission: Unknown Life, Unknown Dangers

Xavier was the first to wake, he didn't sleep easily and he worried about BJ after what she said prior to getting into bed. He wanted to try and start the day on a better note for her. It took some doing, some master level ninja skills to sneak out of bed without waking her. He walked to the Kitchen and replicated some bread, eggs, some butter, various sauces, frying pan and heating unit.

Cutting a circular hole into the bread and a small amount of butter into the pan he waited for it to melt before adding the bread, including the circles he cut out. Once they were done he flipped the bread and this time added an egg into each slide of bread in the cut out. By now the aromas of his creation were starting to take root, he was running out of time before they wafted into the Bedroom. Eggs done and he plated up, armed with a drink, cutlery and all placed on a tray he returned to the Bedroom. "Good morning." He said softly so to not alarm her sleeping frame.

BJ rolled over at the smell of coffee and sat up, rubbing her eyes. "Hey," she said sleepily and mustered a smile for him. "I'm sorry about last night." She eyed the breakfast and a bigger smile graced her lips. "A man who brings me breakfast in bed? I'm in paradise. Thank you, Xavier."

Xavier put on a brave face for her, he'd be lying if he said it was alright because it wasn't. It really worried him to see the strong, confidant woman like her shaken as she was. He placed the tray across her lap on its little legs and kissed her brow. "Enjoy." He hoped at least the eggs were ok and to her liking.

She ignored the food for a moment and wrapped her arms around him and raised her head to meet his lips for a kiss. "It's going to be okay, love," she said. "Are you going to join me?"

Xavier placed such a delicate kiss upon her lips, not light but teamed with passion and love. "I can join you if you would like?" He smiled as he held her barely clothed frame to his as he stood in but a robe, somewhat dirty now from cooking her breakfast.

"I'd like that," BJ said as she cut into the bread and egg. "More than anything."

Shuffling back in to bed Xavier nestled next to BJ as she ate, at least he didn't burn anything and she appeared to be enjoying it. A success in his books for the morning.

"It's very good," she said before she looked at him. "You know, you're the first man ever to bring me breakfast in bed? I think I could get used to this."

"Oh really, well the gift shop opens in an hour and dry cleaning in 30 minutes. Can I get the lady anything else?" Xavier played a role but his hand snaked under the blanket to rest on her bare thigh.

BJ smiled. "Just you," she said before she offered him a bite of her breakfast. "You're all that I want."

Xavier smiled as he leant forward to take the offered bite. "Not bad if I do say so myself." He grinned at the comment. "An amazing cook, you have told me he is good looking, you two have fun. Sounds like a keeper to me."

"Oh," she said as she set her tray aside and moved to straddle him. "I do plan on keeping him as long as he'll let me," she said before she leaned down to kiss him.

Xavier smiled when she straddled him, his hands resting on her waist. The kiss was welcome and wanted. Any affection from her was wanted and he took comfort in it. He was glad that he could sate her wants and needs, fill the things in her life that only another soul could.

"Xav," BJ said as she looked at him. "I'm scared, but I know as long as I have you, things will be okay."

"Plenty enough scared for everyone to go around babe." Xavier replied softly, trying to be that supportive pillar of strength for her.

"Just do me a favor," she said softly. "If we ever fight, please don't let me walk away."

"Why would we fight?" Xavier asked, the last time things even got close to a warning was when he tried to make a surprise move on her against the wall, only it ended up with him in mild pain for it.

"Because I know me," BJ said. "I know how I can be, but do not let me leave."

"Alright." Xavier gave her backside a grope to lighten the mood. "Just don't break my wrist or anything else if I have to apply some force." He joked with a chuckle.

She squirmed and gave him a look, then kissed him. "I won't, but just try to be a bit understanding. I'm under a lot of stress right now and my temper can get volatile, especially when I'm on duty."

"Alright then." Xavier lifted his hands, though reluctantly from her ass and up her back to hug her.

BJ returned the hug and lay down against him. "I love you, baby," she said. "And I don't want to ruin what we have."

"I love you too." He truly did. She had changed his life so much, made it better in so many ways, opened him up to so much and he just couldn't see things without her anymore.

Her heart fluttered to hear him say those words and she leaned in to give him another kiss. "Care for the rest of breakfast...or dessert?"

"Dessert if you don't mind." Xavier boldly and confidently replied smiling as he held her tenderly.

BJ smiled and reached between them. "Prepare to be loved," she whispered.
