After Dinner

Mission: The Emerald Road
Location: Home

After leaving Zan's following an amazing dinner with cheers, good drink and handsome meals the pair of them made the trek home. It was slower than before since they were now burdened following the fill of a good meal. "I thought that turned our pretty well." Jack spoke as they walked the halls of the ship towards the nearest Turbolift.

"Me too." she murmured, sliding her hand into his and squeezing gently. A slightly goofy smile hovered around her lips, and the vaguely unsettled lightheaded feeling of being mildly intoxicated was washing over her. "That last bottle of wine was the real stuff, and I can feel it just a little."

"I didn't know he'd have any, being a pilot and all and the need to be clear headed." Jack spoke as they walked. "I blame Amanda, she's brought that man down to Earth, really changed his life for the better." With his free hand Jack reached out to press the button for the turbolift and waited.

"I hear the right woman can do that to a man. " Acacia answered thoughtfully, her cheek resting on his shoulder.

Jack smiled. "Just about finding that right one huh?" He replied as he gave her a look over. "You did look great tonight by the way." Her outfit suited her well, hugged the curves, highlighted and just added to the beauty she was.

"Well, yes. If I said any woman, or any good woman to remove those that just chase the uniform and not the man....You're still left with an overwhelming number of choices. Tell me that if he were with someone other than Amanda that he'd act like that. Or if I was say...your former assistant instead of me..."

Acacia had a point, it was all about the right woman and finding that while in the service was troublesome enough, finding one that accepted the risks that the green brought with it was another. So yes, Jack felt lucky. "Point taken." The doors opened to an empty lift. Next stop, home, and the lift whisked them away.

"Thanks. " she didn't like the slight unsteadiness she was feeling, as a surgeon she didn't imbibe often. Oddly enough she found her grip on his hand gentle though it was helped her feel more secure

When the doors opened and a gentle casual stroll back home the doors opened and offered its familiar embrace to its two inhabitants. "Home, at last." Not that he minded the night out, but home was a sanctuary, a welcome one.

Making a noise of agreement she smiled softly at her tiny inclusions in 'home'. She really did need to unpack but the less important things were still on the Dreadnought.

When the doors closed Jack unbuttoned his trousers, kicked off his shoes and ruffled his hair a little. Dressing up was nice but he was a marine, not a noble and a certain degree ruggedness was the norm for him. "Much better..." Jack sighed as he slipped onto the very comfortable sofa.

Acacia giggled at the transformation in Jack though she was just as eager to shed her shoes. Eyeing him for a moment she went and laid beside him, her fire curls in his lap.

Seeing her laying down Jack slipped his fingers into her hair and with both hands began a gentle scratching of her scalp. "Tired?" He wasn't, but he'd let her sleep if she needed it and get to bed when she was so he didn't wake her.

"Not really" Sleep was the last thing on her mind, especially with his fingers in her hair filling her entire body with a tingling sensation.

Smiling Jack continued for a little while longer. He didn't want to knot that beautiful hair and he was sure he'd done that already to some degree. "It was nice to get out, break a routine of always being here and doing things." Home was ok, but outside those doors there were many more options to be taken advantage of and they had pleasures unto themselves.

"Tell me what we would have done if wed not gone to dinner." Her voice held a hint of a purr in it as he continued to massage her scalp. Half-lidded eyes focused on his face.

"Well, dinner here, no doubt an attempt by me to cook something that didn't look like a ration pack. No alcohol unfortunately so that would have been missed. No need to dress up." Not that he overly minded, but there were points earlier that he didn't feel the Jack that he was. He could scrub up well true, but he was a marine and with that came a measure of rough edge that had its appeal. Dressing up hid that.

"I could have done without the real stuff. I dont love the feeling of...lack of control" Personally she liked being in control because losing her grasp of it made her feel like a child, locked in her bedroom for daring to be interested in life outside the compound

"But you don't need control here, unless its in the morning and you put a green uniform on instead of your blue one." Remembering the time he woke and before Coffee, hugged and called her Coffee.

That made her laugh and she murmured from her place in his lap "I honestly don't think I'd be a good marine."

"Might turn a few heads in just a green shirt though." Oh what his blurry eyes allowed him to remember seeing the back's of those long legs.

"I have already done that."

"Yeah, for me. Not that I minded." Which he didn't.

"True, and i did enjoy the effect it had on you." Acacia teased arching her back a bit to meet his eyes.

"You were in my shirt, with only panties on, leaning forward over the counter making Coffee.....I'll say it had an effect and were I more awake at the time I'd have taken advantage of that fully." That and if he didn't have duties to attend to as well.

"Maybe I should try it now. BDU shirt with one button closed so that it says Frost." her eyes glinted with mischief "what would that make me then?"

"Are you trying to push my buttons again?" Jack asked with a grin knowing she was and she enjoyed doing it. Pressing the right combination to get the desired reaction out of him though his mind was already picturing the view of a green hardly done up shirt, lace panties and those wonderfully long legs of hers.

"Maaaaaybe" she dragged out the word for a while trying not to grin. "Maybe i just want to see how far I can push My Marine."

"Oh really..." His grin continued to grow. "Just remember what happened when you pushed, corner of a packed room on a transport. Then again later in my quarters?"

"Don't think that if I wasn't scared out of my mind we wouldn't have done more on the corner of that transport" the memory of rocking against him pleased her enormously and made her turn so she could look up at him.

"Maybe then we would have left with our respective bags with our attention less distracted." He chuckled, remembering opening the bag on his desk and pulling out a bra her was certain was not his.

Another joyous peal of laughter answered that statement and she settled back down into his lap.

"I'm so glad nobody was in my office when I pulled your bra out of the bag." The MCO with a bra in his 'to-go' bag made him wonder how he'd explain that one to his assistant or the Major.

"Me too, i think. Though the Major may have just complimented your taste and carried on. That was one of my nicer bras."

"It was, even on my floor too." He pulled his hands from her hair, one on the arm of the sofa the other on her stomach as she lay.

"Aww who said you could stop?" The doctor complained good naturedly as she wiggled to make herself more comfortable.

"If I do any more you will be brushing your hair for hours getting the knots out." He spoke. "Pretty sure I've left a few in there already."

"This is a problem why?"

"You brushing your hair and pulling it out because of these less than delicate fingers of mine." He answered. "Hair is much more gentle needed than a phaser rifle."

Air escaped through pursed lips in a dismissive sound "While there is truth to that, I have no doubt that you can be gentle."

"I'm known to be when the need arises." Jack answered. "But don't tell anyone, people might start to think I'm all exterior and a squishy inside."

"Oh no. That part of you is all mine I promise. Although the damage might already be done after all, they did see you crack a smile at me tonight. " poking her tongue out behind smiling lips she waited to see his reaction.

"Couldn't be helped." Jack recalled the smile, when Acacia walked around the room at Zan's near the table. "It is better to have looked and loved, than to have never looked at all." Not exactly the saying but it served his need.

"Hmmm is that the part of me you love then?" She teased having noticed his eyes were fixated on her backside.

"Oh I love all of you, but if the view presents then who am I to ignore it." One again the memory no matter how blurry of her in his shirt, in panties bent making Coffee.

Acacias cheeks pinkened at that and she raised up on one elbow to kiss him softly.

His lips touched hers and smiled. "I'm glad I met you." His life had taken on drastic but welcome changes since she came along, she made him feel young, wanted, desirable.

"I'm glad that you came to sit with me that evening." she whispered back before she shifted backwards and her whole body was upon his lap, her arms snuggling around his chest.

"Me too." Still that wild purple hair stood out for miles. "Should probably get out of your outfit before you wrinkle it too much." He was not worried about his own, it would get dealt with like the rest of the clothes he didn't plan to wear for the next few days.

"Are you really concerned with me wrinkling my clothes, or do you just want me to strip off for you?" she spoke into his neck, where her mouth was resting.

"The latter." Jack replied. "I was trying to be subtle." Clearly his attempt failed.

She giggled while she considered what to do in this situation. "I don't do subtle. Hmm...Now do I just give you what you want or make you work for it..." it was a rhetorical question as she shifted in his lap once more to be facing him, astride.

"Oh, is that how it is huh? And here I thought you were happy to push buttons and dress up, or down in this case for me." Jack smirked with his hands now on her thighs.

"Oh I am. 100 percent" she purred into his ear as she kissed a path down his neck.

A sigh and smile, he tilted his head as she kissed down his neck, his hands riding up her thighs as a warmth washed through him, one that only she was able to provoke.

She'd nibbled softly, at the junction of neck and shoulder where the end of a scar rested. She loved that he was so sensitive to her touch, and that he trusted her enough to even let her get this far into his life. Acacia did have a near boundless curiosity as to what she didn't yet know about her marine.

Acacia made him feel that he was not judged for the things that he'd done in his career, the steps he'd taken, the risks made, the scars his body paid. His hands were still a touchy subject but given time. He remembered in the shower she traced some of the scars on his back as if they were a map of his life, to him they were in a way, some painful reminders a few unpleasant junctions.

Her fingers undid a button here and there as she pressed kisses to his skin. Pausing only long enough to let him get a glimpse of her before she leaned back in again to caress him with her lips.

Since starting a relationship with Acacia Jack had become accepting, at least more than before, of his own physical self. With the rigors of his career etched on his skin he would often try to hide it, cover up or the like but Acacia didn't seem bothered by it, especially now as she kissed his bare skin, pressing herself against him.

"You're thinking a lot..." Acacia whispered, tracing a line of tension in his body with her fingertip. "You're all tense."

Could she really read him that well? "Maybe, but you are helping me relax." He spoke as he looked down at her, his thumbs on each hand moving up and down on her body where his hands lay.

"I could give you a massage..." she offered with a gentle smile "see how relaxed i can get you."

"Oh I think you are doing just fine as you are." Jack spoke stealing more than a glance or two when her clothing gave it to him.

"I think i might be making you more tense." Her tongue dipped into the hollow of his throat and while moisture gleamed on his skin she blew to dry it.

"No, I don't think so." He grinned feeling her against him, her weight upon his legs. "Besides, can you blame me for wanting to see you, as attractive as you are and I'm awake enough to not call you Coffee this time."

"But that was cute" she commented offhandedly as she leaned in and nuzzled him.

Grinning Jacks hands slipped behind her, the intent was to push her pants down, hard he knew as she was sat on him but her fine ass would be within his hands.

"You....are insatiable." Came the purred responce as she nipped the skin of his neck. She made a sineuous movement and slid her arms out of her shirt, inviting his hands to pull it from her body.

Taking the hint well, having not quiet got her pants down he lifted his hands up to pull her shirt off her to expose her body and bra to him. "You say that like you are surprised."

"Not even a little bit." Acacia countered, and then quietly explained "You have to be controlled all the time. The passion in you, your men can't see because they shouldn't. You have to put up the mask and be the Colonel...but i get it all. All of Jack."

He tossed the shirt aside and smiled at the view before him. "Yes, yes you do." Not that he minded one bit, in fact he took pleasure in it.

It took only a moment for her to wind her arms around his neck and breathe the words "I want it all."
