Location: MXO's Office
Timeline: After 'Troublesome Recruits'

Samantha was just finishing up the post action report of what happened earlier as the incident forced it to be handled by the Colonel directly. Sam wasn't heartless and she had a few times let her heart get her into trouble over someone she cared for but that was a long time ago. She heard the Colonel a few times through the halls as he did his thing and it meant she'd be left picking up the pieces.

This fight caused a world of issues as it meant she had to juggle some reassignments, cover duties for those injured and someone to replace Lt Galming. Galming was a loss though, he was one of the senior leaders of a platoon. This was hardly the ideal situation considering they had just acquired a new commanding officer that replaced Admiral S'iraa.

**Door Chime**

"Enter." Samantha spoke knowing who it would be and the outcome as Jack had already messaged her with his final calls. "Stand." Sam said pointing before her desk. She sighed as this particular incident bothered her because not only did she expect better but being a woman herself the fight these two got into only hindered the image women had to endure in a mostly male world.

"You understand that a demotion was not the worst case scenario. I think you both got lucky but you have used up all of what ever pot you stored it all in." Samantha sat back in her chair as she still had the Colonel's outcome on her desktop computer. "Don't worry, you are not the first to let your heart get the better of you." Samantha wasnt going to have a go herself, the Colonel had done that already.

"Twirl, you will be assigned to Squad 3, Deeds Squad 4. Please try and avoid getting into any more trouble, we don't have many female marines on board so consider your actions next time you decide to prove yourselves." Sam finished inputting her actions into the computer. "You both should know this will put you at the bottom of the promotion list for a while, there was no avoiding that I'm afraid."

Both Privates nodded knowing the extent of what lay ahead of them.

"Report to your new PL's, dismissed." Samantha concluded. There was no point in drawing out what they were going through, they had screwed up and they both knew it so might as well let them get on with it. They would punish themselves enough.
