Mission: New Faces and Terror Beyond
Location: Transporter Room / Observation Lounge

Ra patiently waited for the others to arrive. It came as little surprise that the Vulcan Captain T'rel was exactly punctual arriving to the second. As patient as Ra was it was something that he found infuriating at times wen dealing with Vulcan. Everything had a place, an order, a logic to be discussed.

"Captain T'rel, welcome to the Dreadnought."

"Thank you Captain, I wish our meeting was under circumstances." T'rel spoke as he stepped off the pad, Ra could only nod in agreement.

Next arrive was Captain Kim'Pok. A large brute of a figure with scares on his face and neck to match. "Captain Kim'Pok, welcome to the Dreadnought."

"Ahh...Dread..nought." Deliberately splitting the word. "Pride of the Starfleet. I am disappointed, I hoped for more but I should have expected it, Starfleet is soft....weak."

"This posturing does not help our position Captain, it would be far more logical to work together to resolve the matter at hand."

"Just like their Vulcan friends." Kim'Pok stepped off the padd to make way for who ever came next which turned out to be Gul Re'Call.

"Gul Re'Call, welcome to the Dreadnought." Ra spoke greeting the man.

"Thank you Captain." He answered stepping down and to one side in silence.

Ra's observation of the Cardassian was interupted by his Transporter Chief informing him the Romulan Captain was ready to beam over. Ra approved and the Romulan appeared on the pad a moment later. "Commander Arrhae, welcome to the Dreadnought."

A simple nod would sum up the extent of the greeting Ra would get from the Romulan. "If you would follow me I'll take us to the Conference Room."

Conference Room

Each took a seat and no surprise that there was space between each person bar the Vulcan who sat next to Ra. "Gentlemen, I know each of you have your own perspectives on this, honour, loss and casualties. Irrespective of all that we need to find out who did this, for some the why may not be important but some of our best and finest scientists were involved with this project, we all worked together to get this far I see no reason why we should cease that effort now."

"I have here all of our information we collected from survey teams of the site and scans taken." Commander T'Rel said placing the information padd on the table top.

"I find it difficult to believe that Starfleet has honest intentions when you arrive on a ship such as this." The Klingon Kim'Pok spoke.

"He says arriving on the Klingons most powerful warship." Gul Re'Call fired.

Ra had to interject and quickly before this got out of hand, first talks were always the worst and his position was the worst of all. He was playing catch up. "Gentlemen, I assure you that my presence here is the same as yours, to find out who did this and bring them to justice. My ship was sent because it was the closest in the area, that's all."

"Ultritium 342." The Romulan spoke. "Our scans revealed trace amounts of Ultritium 342 at the scene."

"I thought Ultritium 342 was for industrial uses, excavations and terraforming." Gul Re'Call spoke.

"It is. However in small controlled amounts its explosive output is enough to destroy reinforced buildings. It would not be difficult for who ever did this to obtain this explosive. The world has many industrial areas." The Vulcan clarified to the group.

"Let us look at the facts. Only our finest had access to the research data. There were no external communications devices, all signals and sensors were jammed. So whoever did this was supporting staff or building attendants. Considering that nobody has made it out alive from the building, the scientific research destroyed its clear that none of us are responcible."

"Are you saying that who ever is, is still on the planet?" Kim'Pok spoke.

"No vessels have been allowed to leave the planet since the accident." T'Rel spoke.

"Then we should bombard the planet, ensure nothing survives."

"Typical of a Klingon to use brute force where diplomacy is required." Re'Call jested

"Silence baktag before you drown in your own blood." Kim'Pok returned unimpressed at the Cardassians insinuation.

"Gentlemen please. Lives were lost, let us not add to them. Who ever is responsible is still on the planet, this attack has effected us all, this research could have benefited every, equally and it was taken from us." Ra spoke once again having to reign in the troublesome two.

"Our scans have indicated increased transit travel since the explosion, it is possible those responcible have used the resulting chaos to flee the scene." Commander Arrhae spoke.

"Emergancy services have responded but hospital facilities were damaged." T'Rel added.

"Then our priority should be containment and aid." Ra spoke. "If we station our ships around the planet effectively blockading it from ships trying to leave, we will be in a better position to intercept anyone trying to leave but also scan any ship arriving. I will have our sickbay send teams to the surface for medical assistance."

"I am afraid that will not be possible Captain." T'Rel spoke.

"Why?" A confused Ra asked.

"The planetary governor has blamed us for bringing this disaster to his world. He has refused any aid or assistance since the attack." T'Rel handed over another padd. "I have managed to open a window of dialogue with him but perhaps you should request to speak with him."

Ra wondered why him. Considering the others in the room he could partially understand it especially the Romulan and Klingon, the Cardassians were hard to trust so what made him so special. "Very well, in the mean time I'd like to establish a sensor and information net between out ships, if we are to work together then we share everything. Our efforts will only be hampered if we work against each other."

Expecting resistance Ra was surprised that the Klingon would go first, once that was done everyone else fell into line and links were established. The meeting concluded soon after and security escorted the Captains off ship.
