Mission: What Stalks The Night
Location: USS Dreadnought

Ayla tapped in rapid command along with her rank codes. First she had set the sensor logs to save as they recorded unfolding action from the moment Captain Hood gave the order for them to be recorded. She brought up the more powerful Dreadnought sensor array and bombarded the attacking ships with confusing scanner signals.

She braced herself as the first impacts against the shield sent shudders through the ship. Three of the fastest deadliest ships in Fleet Arsenal against a starbase size ship. As her hands flew over the her console. She wondered who was going to come out on top. But this was her home along with her Mate and daughter.

Ayla looked thoughtful as she played with the scanner arrays on the ship. She sent out conflicting beams of signals that when their paths crossed, it would register as a ship with a malfunctioning Cloaking device. 'It' would appear then quickly fade away only to appear elsewhere. Sometimes it would make the Dreadnought appear to be duplicating itself, yet trying to occupy the same space, but offset a few yards. Or giving birth to another ship the way a single cell would form and split from the host cell.

She studied the shield energy frequency range of the three attacking ship. She wrinkled her nose as she worked, bracing herself from the occasional shaking of the ship from a strong impact.

Ayla gave brief thought to her daughter, hoping that Miracle made it to safety.
