Mission:
Not All Changes Are Welcome.
Location: Agincount's Position
Timeline: Current
Zan held a close patrol pattern while vectoring other fighters in the area to his position, 4 were not enough. As more arrived and sensors were telling him the Barham was on the way he relayed his sensor readings back through the net of fighters back to the Dreadnought. He was no engineer so he didn't know if it would help or not but it would at the very least aid in preparations.
Zan kept a wide birth of the ejecting warp plasma not wanting it to get into his own engines and stall them which for a fighter would be a death sentence.
He used the net he'd cast to establish a communications link to the Dreadnought.

Ra eagerly waited with baited breath on any update that might come his way, anything that might reveal more information as to what was happening off in the distance. "Sir, relayed signal from the CAG."
"Put it through." Ra spoke sitting upright in his chair towards the unusually large viewscreen. "Commander Luthar." Ra opened. "Report."
"Sir, The Agincourt has taken considerable damage, many primary systems are down, her engines are crippled." Zan ran through a general damage report for the Captain letting him know the extend of the damage. "I'm forwarding my sensor readings on her now, Engineering is going to be busy patching her up."
"The Barham is on the way, remain on station and establish a screen against enemy threats. What about the crew?" Ra was more concerned about his crew than a starship, starships could be replaced, crews were a different matter.
"Life support is functional, I am detecting life signs on board." Zan spoke as he glanced down at his display before taking a look around his surroundings. "Barham will need to tow the Agincourt back to the barn, it doesn't seem she'd be able to dock straight away, there is damage to three of the mag lock points on the outer hull."
Which to Ra meant that the Agincourt would need to be towed to the Dreadnought and positioned stationary astern of her until enough repairs were made to permit docking. "Very well, I will make sure things are prepared on this end, conduct scans see if you can track where the attackers may have come from or went, any information at this stage will help."
Ra looked off screen towards one of his Bridge Officers. "Signal Barham, request an update." He needed to know where his pieces where if he was going to act accordingly to an obviously hostile location.
"Luthar, anything else?"
"No sir, sensor readings and data is being relayed to you now, you should be seeing everything I am and my fighter is detecting." Zan spoke as he flicked on his onboard visual displays.
Ra was presented with the extent of the damage to the Agincourt, it was a mess, the once pristine vessel now a battered, charred and broken form. Ra could hear the few surprised gasps from those on the Bridge as they too were pulled towards the view before them. Who ever did this had the capability of taking on and crippling a Defiant class escort, which in itself was heavily armed and armoured. It showed to him that who ever was responsible was not afraid of Starfleet and clearly held confidence to do as he pleased, against who he pleased.
Ra could but hope that the local authorities would shed some information, any information as to the culprits. "Commander, await Barham and stand by for further orders. Dreadnought out." He turned to his communications officer. "Signal Minister Craven, I'd like to speak them regarding this matter.
