Mission:
Unknown Life, Unknown Dangers
Location: Holodeck 1
Jack didn't feel like going down to the planet as he felt if he did he'd be roped in all kinds of family gatherings, dinners, required to regale everyone and anyone with tales from the Dreadnought, missions he'd been on and any other tibbet of information they would want to glean from him.
At least in the Holodeck nobody cared, simulations don't care if you are a Lt.Colonel, in Starfleet or not. You are just another person to them enjoying the sun, view and beach. Jack often launched this little program of his during time off because he wanted to be himself, not the officer or marine he was known to be.
So here he was lounging on a reclining chair, under a large umbrella with the sun beaming down upon him with a drink in one hand, some questionably coloured shorts and some tidy sunglasses on.

Constantine slipped into the nearest holo-deck braced for anything as she was escaping a pesky suitor and all the holodecks were in use at the moment. Seeing the beach scene. She smiled. She spoke softly not to disturb anyone to be in the proper outfit for the beach. A bikini of bright yellow. She had a deck chair appear a few feet from Jack's. Far enough away to provide him privacy, yet alerted him the a someone was sharing the holodeck and his program.
Out of curiosity, She strode gracefully past him a she glanced at the occupant of the beach chair and umbrella. Giving Jack a nod as she glance at him from head to foot, she involuntary licked her lips. ~~Here would be a man to get to know~~ She thought as she proceeded on to her chair. Giving him time to kick her out of the holodeck, since she was the intruder. She flashed him a smile in hopes that he wouldn't.
Jack eyed up the new arrival from behind the safety of his sunglasses. Incredible body clad in a yellow bikini, that deserved a smile for sure. His eyes followed her to where she sat. "You know, it's awfully rude to not introduce yourself." It was blatantly obvious that Jack was being playful going by the grin on his face and the look over the top of his glasses.
"Constantine Ravenloft." Connie spoke in her soft professional voice, which was pleasant in itself. "Whom do I have the pleasure of speaking to?" Being polite incase it was a senior officer of the ship as she was new and hadn't taken the time to fully learn who was whom.
"Colonel Jack Frost, yes like the story. I'm the Marine Commander on board." Jack introduced himself. He didn't stop looking at her as he spoke. "So what brings you to my little corner of the beach?"
"Just getting away from the hectic scheduling and avoiding the 'Hey You' Roster." She smiled a bit as she relaxed back on the deck chair. She spoke again, "I'm one of the bridge helm pilots and shuttle pilot if needed. I wish I could claim CFO. But alas the slots been already filled and I'm just as happy to just to be flying this Ascension Class ship."
Jack chuckled. "You say that now. Just wait until you have to fly it combat style. It handles like a planet. There is no evasive manoeuvres." Jack smiled. "I ran simulations a while back when I was Acting First Officer. We took over 97% of the weapons fire aimed at us."
Connie looked a bit worried. "I hope its built like a bunker then. To be able to take the punishment." Giving the idle setting a glance as she relaxed back on the deck chair. She propped her leg up on the deckchair with the foot resting on the seat. "where did you find this scene? It's very beautiful."
"Old stomping grounds during my long distant youth." Jack spoke. "Relax, she will do fine." He added. "So um, what brought you in here at warp speed so unexpectedly, if you don't mind my asking?"
"I'm avoiding a pest. He whont take no for answer." Connie scowled a bit as she spoke for the reason she darted into the holodeck. "We had a few dates and he was extra pushy. I told him to stop seeing me and calling me. He whont stop. So now I'm avoiding him and leaving his messages unanswered for now."
"Why not just report the guy?" Jack hated those types. Almost like a hint wasnt enough and ended up in a firm slap or a right hook from the new boyfriend. Jack turned when he heard the holodeck doors open. Only a small hut stood in the way with a few plants around it. He then looked at her over his glasses, wondering if he needed to step in.
Connie looked towards the entrance to the holo-deck when it opened and shut. Just in time to see Her Stalker in Security Gold come around the hut to look over who was present. Seeing her and Jack peeking over their deck chairs.
"Security Check. I heard someone was having troubles in one of the holodecks." He scowled at seeing Connie with someone else. The Marine Colonel. "Excuse me." He fled before anyone can give him a response.
Connie buried her face in her hands as her hair draped down, muttering, "Likely excuse...." She leaned back against the deck chair backrest. "That was him. Good ole Freddy McGuire. Always with the proper cover of doing his job to keep tabs on me. And if I was alone in here. He would've stayed till I threaten to report him or leave."
"Do you want me to have a word with him?" Jack offered. "I promise not to touch him." He smiled but in all seriousness, something like this would not be tolerated, nobody should feel stalked or otherwise cornered into a situation they didn't want.
Connie looked relieved at the offer. "I'd be grateful. But he'll still be on the same ship as I and after a few days, he'll be back hounding me again or spreading vicious rumors about us." Constantine gave Jack another once over look as her eyes smoldered with a bit lust in them. ~~hopefully they'll come true.. but at what cost though..~~ She thought to herself.
"I'll speak to him today." Jack didn't like the situation on bit, possessive types not taking no for an answer just didnt sit well one bit. People met up, started something but not every time it worked out. This was one of those times between those two but Jack wasn't going to sit by and watch that officer prey on her.
Constantine smiled with a bit of relief. "I'd appreciate it." She stood up. "I must be going. I still need to check out the shuttles." She gave him a warm smile. "Nice meetin ya. I wish it was under better circumstances." She took her departure from the holodeck.
