Mission: New Faces and Terror Beyond
Location: USS Dreadnought

:: Bawdens Den ::

Ayla kept tabs on the ships progress and crew. Even listened in on the brief and watched Captain place Colonel Frost as Acting XO. It made her want to flee the Den and arrive at the briefing. Then she would hear her husband, mate, father of her children stir on the couch where he layrs would swivel towards him to pick up on his movements to determine what he was doing.

She invaded the medical records to see how Marcie was doing. But it didn't look good for second offspring. She sighed softly not to disturb her mates time of recovery. She was checking options out of returning to Homeworld with Family. Marks would be a wonderful addition to the Mousian Community with his insight on the Humans. She was just as much a prisoner in the Den cause of Marks and his work ethics would have him running the corridors of the ship to check up on his Security Department.

She glanced at the time and time seamed to have stopped for her. Then glancing at the screen and see that she had accomplished very little. She would stand up and pace or go do household chores. Even cleaned and organized Miracle and Marcie's Room. She pondered for a moment to put in a request for a bigger Den with an additional bedroom so the girls could have separate room. But then with the sickness upon Marcie, she knew that Marcie would pass on to a better plane of existence. She would sit on Marcie's bed and hold one of her sleep dolls. She cried quietly not to disturb Marks. It hurt to see her daughter suffer. And her mate.

: Marine Section :

SST Winters tore through the Marine section in getting her team ready for they would have the brunt of the patrols for the planetary predators and to deal with them. And also to back up the Security to keep those heading down onto the planet. She was looking over the latest load-out to be carried to ensure the troops had rations, water, equipment for bivouacking and weapons and ammo for the Security of the Dreadnought Crew and the locals.

She scowled as her one of her data pads chirped to signal incoming message. She debated to whether to ignore it or not. But then could she afford to ignore it as it could be from higher ups. She access it and gave a soft smile when she read it. With a quick glance at the time. She replied back to Zan via text.

:: I can meet you for a quick bite to eat in our shared quarters. Having the usual pre-mission organized chaos load out for the upcoming mission. AW ::

She sent it off and called her team to take a break for lunch.

: Everywhere and Anywhere :

Elizebeth loved working behind the scenes to make the transition of her husband a lot smoother. And it seamed to be working. She made herself available to the civilian dependents. Opening up a channel to gauge the morale of the crew and ship's over all population. She gracefully moved through the ship, making it a point to meet someone new each day on her many rounds. Listening to the scuttlebutt of both crew and population.

She entered the ship's Infirmary and spoke with the head nurse to act as a Candystriper to bring companionship to the wounded that were stuck in the ships infirmary. Helped with the paperwork that she was allowed to access. She smuggled in snacks, letters for those stuck in the infirmary. Read to those that couldn't hold a book; something the patient had interest in. She taught Andorian to those that were interested. Showing that the Captain and her cared about the whole crew. She followed the set rules of where she could go and not go.

: School Marm :

Annabelle moved amongst the children busy at work on school lessons. Occasionally she would stop and help a child with their school work. She nudged a few who were dozing over their work to keep them motivated. Once she made her rounds, she settled at her desk and began to prep for the next block of lessons. She listened to the quiet talk of the children. They was looking forward to another field trip as they couldn't stop talking about the other field trips to the various different sections of the ship.
